This program is designed to build a strong foundation in English, essential for excelling in higher grades. Students are introduced to key aspects of the ICSE syllabus that include

The Grade 9 program prepares students to tackle more complex aspects of ICSE English, setting the stage for Grade 10. The key components include:

• Beginning of in-depth analysis of Prose, Poetry and Drama for the ICSE syllabus
• Initiating the students into Shakespearean Era
• Extending its historical and literary perspectives, understanding themes, character development and literary devices
• Covering conceptual grammar from basics to advanced level
• Using music as a tool to make grammar fun to learn and break the monotony of its learning
• Getting clarity on formats on writing Notices, Emails and Letters

The ultimate goal for Grade 10 students is to ace their ICSE English exams. The highlights of this program include:

• Continuing of Grammar concepts & re-evaluating erroneous areas (if any)
• Graduating from basics to advanced grammar with more complex structures
• Concluding Literature portion by end of September
• Developing competency for different kinds of questions (Recall, Understanding, Analytical)
• Attempting Exhaustive Test Series: (Pre-prelim and Prelim exams) to become familiar with time management, exam pattern and enhancing speed and accuracy
• Solving of variety of other prominent school prelim papers to iron out flaws
